17 January 2026A Confectionery vending machine is a specialised Snack vending machine for chocolate, sweets, chewing gum and other confectionery, with spiral technology optimised for delicate products.
Function and area of use
Confectionery vending machines use particularly gentle spiral systems that prevent chocolate or fragile sweets from being damaged when dispensed. The spirals turn more slowly and evenly than in standard snack vending machines. Many models have climate control that limits the internal temperature to a maximum of 20 °C on hot days so that chocolate does not melt.
Typical locations are cinemas, theme parks, schools, universities, hospitals and waiting areas. Confectionery vending machines are particularly popular with children and young people. The range is tailored to the target group: schools today also prefer reduced-sugar or sugar-free alternatives.
Modern units offer 40–60 different products, from classic branded chocolate bars to vegan sweets. Telemetry analyses sales patterns and optimises the range automatically.
