Lift system (lift vending machine)

A lift system is a dispensing technology in which a lift collects the product from the compartment and gently brings it to the outlet instead of dropping it.

Function and area of use

With classic spiral vending machines, the goods drop into the outlet after purchase. That is too rough for glass bottles, yoghurt, eggs, salads or delicate packaging. A lift moves in front of the compartment, picks up the product and carries it down. Some systems work with an XY lift or a robotic arm that picks products from several rows.

Lift vending machines are somewhat more expensive than pure spiral vending machines but considerably expand the range. They are particularly suitable for fresh food, drinks in glass and high-quality products.
