Goods dispensing system

17 January 2026A Parcel locker is a smart locker system for the automatic acceptance, storage and dispensing of parcels of various sizes, with multi-carrier support.
Function and area of use
Parcel lockers work in both directions: couriers deliver parcels and recipients collect them. The courier scans the parcel, a suitable compartment opens automatically and the parcel is placed inside. The recipient immediately receives a notification with a collection code. For returns, the customer can place their parcel in a compartment and print a label, and the shipment is collected on the courier’s next visit.
Parcel lockers are essential for urban last-mile logistics. Locations include residential complexes, railway stations, supermarkets, petrol stations and office buildings. They solve the problem of failed deliveries and reduce redelivery costs. They are indispensable in apartment buildings without a concierge.
Multi-carrier capability means that all parcel services can use the same locker. This maximises utilisation and customer convenience.
Advantages
- Customer convenience through free collection times
- Multi-carrier reduces duplicated infrastructure
- Returns handling without visiting a branch
- Lower CO2 through bundled deliveries
