A Click & collect vending machine is a smart locker system for collecting goods ordered online automatically, without waiting or staff contact.

Function and area of use

Click & collect vending machines integrate seamlessly with e-commerce shops. After an online order, the retailer prepares the goods and places them in a compartment. The customer receives a notification with a QR code or PIN and can collect the goods at any time. The system logs the collection time and confirms the handover automatically.

Click & collect vending machines are found at retailers, supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants and fashion stores. They enable contactless service outside opening hours and relieve staff of collections. They are particularly successful for food (supermarket orders), hospitality (takeaway) and pharmacies (medicines).
